Thoughts on "irregular warfare"
I saw an article the other day decrying the fact that less attention is drawn to the fact that most terrorists are incompetent boobs.
It occurred to me: their incompetence is their whole strength! Teaching people to be competent is expensive, difficult, and time-consuming. Relying on their innate incompetence is cheap, easy, and quick - and lord knows any given “competent” soldier...
