buzzdatablog: Government excuses for not handing over data can be really frustrating. Last week we tried to help some journalists get Toronto Police data in an e-format. The TPS analyst said they had to hand the data over as paper because they had to print the data, redact exact addresses with white-out, photo-copy it and mail the 137 pages to the journalist. Wha?
